Chrysocolla

Legend - The name Chrysocolla first appears (315 BC) in the writings of Theophrastus and is of Greek origin, chrysos meaning "gold" and kolla meaning "glue," in reference to similar-looking material that was used to solder gold but long applied to various green copper minerals.

Properties - It is said to be good for creativity and communication as it is believed to be a tranquil and sustaining stone.

Description - These Chrysocolla beads are a rich green/blue and may show the occasional inclusion of pyrite. It is possible that some stones have been colour enhanced.
